In honor of the Indiana University Bicentennial, the university is rolling out limited edition Bicentennial stationery to be used by all university schools and offices between January 2019 and July 2020.
The commemorative Bicentennial stationery creates an opportunity for each of our campuses to rally around a landmark moment in our shared history. It also extends the reach of the Bicentennial program—and therefore the story of IU—to the mailboxes of students, parents, alumni, and community leaders across the country and around the world.
Celebratory stationery elements
There are two versions of the Bicentennial stationery package.
The Office of the President and all vice presidents will use the full set of celebratory stationery, which includes official Bicentennial signatures on letterhead and envelopes, letterhead watermarked with “200,” and envelopes adorned with the Bicentennial mark on the flap. The Bicentennial signatures have already been created and will automatically appear on vice president-level stationery.
Stationery for all other campuses, school, units, and offices will include letterhead with a “200” watermark and a special Bicentennial footer as well as envelopes with the Bicentennial mark on the flap. This stationery will continue to use existing signatures.
How to order Bicentennial stationery
All physical letterhead and envelopes ordered between January 2019 and July 2020 will automatically arrive on Bicentennial stationery, so simply follow your normal ordering process.
Official stationery for all units, including auxiliaries, centers, and institutes, may only be ordered from Document Services in Bloomington or Miles Printing in Indianapolis. If you don’t have an existing signature, you must request one from IU Communications before you can order new stationery.
Letterhead will be printed in either white or cream. Envelopes and business cards are also available in either white or cream. Auxiliaries, centers, and institutes with their own mark/logo and type must provide these electronically to Printing Services or Miles Printing as vector-based eps files with the fonts outlined.
If you have an existing Anniversary Mark, you may order Bicentennial stationery that includes it from both Document Services and Miles Printing. You will have the opportunity to select this option during the ordering process.
